Perception of English Difficulties to Improve Learning Design
Abstract
Listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills are integrated into elementary English learning. This study aimed to determine students' perceptions in assessing the achievement of learning English, which consists of four basic language skills. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The data of this research were obtained from elementary students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. They collected data using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data analysis used descriptive statistics. The results show that students do not experience significant difficulties achieving English language skills. This research was only in one elementary school. The originality of this study is to obtain pure data on students' views of English language learning as material for the perfection of learning design.
